Begin with a unique selection process where a horse from our intuitive herd chooses you. This horse will be your partner throughout the entire 5-week journey, offering insight, companionship, and a connection that grows deeper with each session.
Grooming, Trust-Building, and Groundwork
Each session offers hands-on experiences with your chosen horse, such as grooming, trust exercises, and groundwork that builds a deep bond between you. Our horses live outside to provide them with the 3Fs (friends, forage, freedom) and have deep complex herd bonds, learn how we respect and honour these whilst keeping everyone safe in all interactions.
Horsemanship Through Horse Psychology
Dive into how horses view the world and learn how to communicate using energy, breath, inner awareness and balance as well as intention—key elements of a successful, ethical partnership. Whether you are a beginner or very experienced horse person - we will support you with what you need in your relationships with horses so that your interactions become effortless and peaceful.
Safety, Boundaries, and Respect
While our approach honours the freedom and choices of both horse and human, safety is the foundation of true horsemanship. You’ll learn essential techniques for establishing clear, gentle boundaries that keep both you and your equine partner secure, ensuring every interaction is rooted in mutual trust and safety.

Our group course is designed with ages 15 and up in mind. For aspiring equestrians under 15, we recommend our 1:1 sessions—perfect for providing the focused, personalized guidance younger students need to connect with horses at their own pace.

For those who want a more personal, immersive experience, we offer a select number of one-on-one sessions with Nat each term, designed to tailor the EquiTune journey specifically to you. In these 90 minute sessions, we’ll dive deeply into your unique goals and energy, exploring the EquiTune fundamentals in a way that’s all about your connection with horses. We will go at your speed and support you every step of the way catering to your needs.
Currently, we have two 1:1 spots available for immediate start till the end of term (22nd December) . Choose from the following session times:

Closed-in shoes are required for everyone on the property. Since sessions are outdoors, we recommend sun-safe clothing, a hat, and insect protection for your comfort and safety.

For the safety of our horses and participants, support persons are not permitted on the property. Sessions are kept intimate, involving only those working directly with the horses. If you have someone dropping you off, please arrange for drop-off and pick-up at the end of your session to allow for a fully immersive experience. There is a lovely coffee shop at the Capalaba Produce just round the corner.

Each session lasts about two hours. You’ll engage in grooming, groundwork, trust-building exercises, and learn the essentials of ethical horsemanship. Our approach emphasizes connection and mutual respect with the horses.

We are in Chandler, QLD, with the exact address provided in your confirmation email. For our horses’ safety, please only visit the property during your scheduled session time, as unplanned visits can disrupt the herd.

We have a wet weather plan in place, so sessions will proceed as scheduled. Please dress accordingly, as you may get wet. We have covered tack-up areas where we can work on foundational skills, ensuring that you can still make the most of your session regardless of the weather.

No, we do not offer refunds or rescheduling. Each horse is specifically reserved for your session and only works once per day, in alignment with their well-being.

No, our horses are high-standard athletes who have undergone their own healing journeys and chosen to be part of this work. They bring unique skills, intuition, and empathy to each session.

We encourage being present, so please avoid using phones or cameras. Our team will capture special moments for you and provide photos afterward.

Respectful behaviour is required—no running, yelling, or disruptive actions on the property. Sessions may end immediately if safety rules are disregarded. Treating the horses, trainers, and property respectfully ensures a positive experience for all.
